Sundays is a Nail and self-care brand focused on non-toxic nail care and overall wellness. Working with NDNY Architecture and Design, we converted a compact storefront into a warm and minimal salon. The small footprint required careful planning to provide retail, manicure, pedicure, back-of-house, and reception functions in the 800-sf space.

The space’s 14’ high storefront introduces daylight and views into the small footprint, increasing the sense of space and light. A new white oak millwork screen and sill wraps the interior of the glass storefront, providing privacy to clients and warming up the space. The oak screen is connected with rows of custom manicure tables and a raised pedicure platform, the entire assembly designed to conceal carefully coordinated exhaust systems ensuring indoor air quality.
